Drop stuff in your box

Anyone who has multiple computers knows how difficult it is to sync files and documents. You may or may not have heard of drop box, an online service that lets you keep files on multiple mac, windows, and linux pc’s updated and in sync. Basically, if you put a file in a drop box on one computer, it can be accessed through all of your computers on that account. If you happen not to be on a computer with drop box installed, you can access your files online. Dropbox is 100% safe even though it has a yellow rating with McAfee. The reason for this is because some people were abusing the system by spreading malware through the public file sharing system. The people at drop box left a comment too:

Dropbox is a software product that’s revolutionizing the way people think about and access their files. In particular, we make it easy to securely share files with other people, sync them across multiple computers, access them from anywhere, and keep them safely backed up online.

Our feature list: http://www.getdropbox.com/features

One of the features of the Dropbox service is the ability for users to put files in their Dropbox and share public links to those files with anyone they like. Unfortunately, some very small number of users decide to put viruses or other malware inside their Dropbox folders, and then post links to these bad files online in the hope that unsuspecting people will download them.

The Dropbox desktop software is completely free of viruses, malware and spyware, as is the main website that our users access. However, please be cautious of any links to files being hosted by Dropbox users that you don’t recognize.

Please report any malicious public file links to us directly by emailing support@getdropbox.com, so that we can ban the abusing user’s account if necessary.

We take your security and privacy very seriously. Thanks for using Dropbox!

If you want to get dropbox, you can go through my referal link and get an extra 250mb of storage on top of the 2gb already included. GET DROPBOX
